This page provides some queries for data relating to tournament activity and Tournament Directors. Only Regular rated tournaments are looked at. There are some difficulties with using the data to look for trends and or general interest:

• Different sections of a tournament are usually (but not always) entered as separate tournaments.
• Private matches are also recorded as tournaments
• It is difficult to separate out junior only events from other events.
• The recent data for the CFC is in a format that does not record Tournament Organizer (it is in the older data however) so this information is not available.

To help in possible future use of trying to look for trends in tournament activity, I have provided some additional information: (post) rating of 1st place finisher (might be misleading for tournaments with multiple sections submitted as one tournament or not properly entered in finish order), and average (post) rating (inclduing unrated player as 0)

Note: there are some tournaments for which a TD ID number is given but who is not in the membership database.
